Argh.. So tired.. OMG.. 3 daes 2 nites camp felt like 10 years 9 weeks camp.. but in anyhow it was a great camp..
At the start of the Wednesday morning, sue n I found out that we were not on the same group.. haha but its ok.. I was in group waki and she was in group whooshy.. cute rite the names.. and there was squishy, zam zam, jub jub, scuba, and loola.. (all water related names)
So anyway, group waki consist of.. Eunice from Yr 2 Marketing, Sarah, Fuad and Sunjit from Yr 1 BIT, Ben from Yr 2 Logistics, Mardianna from Yr 1 Business (I think), James from Hospi Yr 3 and me (duh!) 9 of us lah..
We had ice breakers, made flags, created lame cheers, played games, and ate.. and bonded in several ways..
1.The girls played the cup game, where u actually coordinate steps with hands and a cup with rythem and everything.. haha.. so cute…!!
2.den, we had to play group games, like the usual stuff lah..
3.den we came up with a group skit, ( The Best Performance Group, thank you very much~!) involving the theme 'Big Splash' Our skit actually comprises of movies relating to water. So we created something like a spool for every movies and made it the oscar awards. The norminies were, Finding Nemo, Titanic, Jaws, Free Willy and The waterboys.
briefly: Finding Nemo, we did a scene from it and suddenly Free Willy (Phat Willy) came into the picture.. haha.. asking if there was an extra needed.
Den in Titanic, Rose was 'flying' and Jack was fainting on board Sampan Titanic, when Phat Willy (again!) came budging in and colliding with the sampan, making it sink with jack, rose and the sampan rower. Then when Jack was sinking, Rose was trying to help jack till she saw his 'ONE' ring and suddenly had Gollum possessed in her and grab for the ring. That caused Jack to die.
In jaws, all the girls were swimming till 1 girl.. (me.. ) saw something jutting out of the water.. (background jaws music plays) den jaws came out.. the girl (me!!) n jaws stared at each other.. blinking for like 5 seconds.. and both party started screaming and everyone ran away.. (Including jaws himself..)
In Phat Willy, Phat Willy himself had to fly over one side of the water with jesse directing him, he (willy) falls flat to the floor and started throwing up, den jesse frustrated with willy, started kicking willy all over, causing his death.
3 guys were doing synchronized swimming in the water to the tune of 'she bangs' and special thanks to William Hung for his wonderful interpretation of dance cherography.
The winner of coz, was Phat Willy himself, but was unable to accept the award as he had died due to unforeseen circumstances.
Pretty cool rite? Haha… So anyway, we all had fun pretty much, till the last nite when we had the solo nite and all the main comm. started telling ghost stories.. (LESTER IS A VERY CONVINCING STORY TELLER) the stories started becoming so bad, I started to cry.. I dunno y, but yea.. it was like ultra ultra freaky.. and im so sincerely glad that my group members were so supportive towards me.. ( they were probably secretly thinking I was some kind of an idiot.. chey.. no lah) anyway.. they were really really nice.. especially sarah. Who walked up with me through the solo nite ( compulsory for girls to walk in pairs.. ) the whole bloody thing was freaky loh.. I was sure if sarah wasn’t there I would have freaked the hell out of myself.. Anyway.. really really thanks to sarah and her wonderful reverse pyscology. If not.. sure die.. anyway, I made it thru unscratched and not crying.. and the grp was still comforting me after I finished the walk… (including Creme Bulee) haha..
So yea.. not forgetting
4.We revised through our TP mass dance..
5.We learnt our Business Mass Dance.. (The business dance is good loh!! Like outstanding!!)
6.We learnt new cheers, mainly thanks to grp squishy and their si beh ho cheer.. (like so totally in hokkien.. but so totally cute loh!!) IT goes like this..

Hospitality Tourism Management Dinner and Dance 2004 has just had it's curtain call, but i feel it barely just started. How did it go today? After months of hearing me talk about my friends organising it? Well, this is about the 1 on 1 of the whole day..
Okay, so sue came over to my hse at abt 10 yesterday nite to ton over.. Prepared what to wear with what for the dnd.. Din noe how to style my hair, i couldnt be bothered actually.. With hair as short as mine.. i don think anyone would have the mood to think.. I stayed awake till like 1 am in the morning, den i juz plonked on my bed and sleep. Sue was still fooling with my computer.. I wondered if i snored, oh well, you gotta ask her if u wanna noe..
I woke up at 7 am this morning to help babysit my lil bro, though he is the cutest, 7 am is not actually my best time of day.. So anyway, watch cartoons with him till abt 10.30 and my mum shooed him to take his aftnn shower.. I went to wake the pig up, haha... PIG!! Spend the last few hours in my house sending dancable songs to karin for the dance. Got out of the house like at 12 plus, met up with brian at tm, went to buy safety pins, nail polish remover and sally hansen's french manicure set.
Then we went back to my place where sue and brian waited for me.. Haha.. ( the thing was that i forgot to bring my handphone out, its becoming like a drag to carry a handphone for me.. since many many months back, i have lost all interest in msging people.. No one to msg anyway..) Yep, went back home to get my hp and eye makeup remover for sue.. ( her bare essentials).. then we took a cab down to Grand Corpthone Hotel to check into our room..
Hold up at Corpthone Hotel coz Hotel policies do not allow us to use my dad's visa without the real card and actual approval from my dad himself, so we paid $180 up front. By that time it was like 2 plus already.
Den, sue and i were doing our nails in the hotel room (that was after we finished 'ooh-ing' and 'ahh-ing' about everything) It was redundant coz i cleaned away my manicure coz it look like shit.. (^^*)
Met up with jo and sheena at great world city, and guess who i saw? Megawati!! My boss, like old old boss.. Whom happened to be my all time favorite boss!! She is like back.. for good i hope coz im Dying to work for her.. Rushed back to the hotel at abt quarter to 5 to prepare for the big thing..
It was actually impossible for me to be late for functions since i don really care about appearance.. ( the thing is that, when u are going for such functions, there would be scores n scores of girls who are prettier den you.. so u just don bother.. and i don believe in 'dress to kill', juz 'dress to fit and blEND') but!! there was like 3 other girls in the room, sue, sheena and jo..
I wore a red spag top with lil frill on one side, with black pants and pointy shoes!! haha.. did my hair.. ( i actually liked my hair alot coz i had spent like 15 minutes thinking abt what to do.. and spent 5 mins and 1/4 of a can of hair spray.. and clip it down with a butterfly clip.. haha cute!!)
sue wore this spag dress, dull green prints on white.. she did her hair and pin it too.. (we looked like sisters) and oh.. i LURVE her shoes..
jo wore this cocktail dress, dark mauroon, heels and i did her hair!! haha ( i push one side of her hair to the other side and pin a dark mauroon flower to her hair jus at the back of her ear.. really pretty)
the cutest of all is still sheena, she wore this nude colour halter top, bare back with mini cream coloured skirt, i did her hair too.. ( twisted half of it back and curled the ends.. ) den she added a veil to her head, pasted bindi to her forehead.. She looked like a contemporary indian bride..
at the dnd, xiu zi wore a skirt!! OH MY GAWD.. y my camera wasnt working!!! damn! it was like once in a lifetime.. she wore a skirt..
Karin wore this cocktail dress that was in satin n apple green? i think thats the colour.. my my my.. she look absolutely gorgeous.. So was everyone else present.. ( im sorry i cant name all of u guys.. its like 2.32 am.. i cant think anymore..)
the food was great.. and events were cool, stewardy did a latin ballroom dance, adapted from dirty dancing, havana nights.. IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME.. OH MY TIAN.. i could faint.. both him and elieen.. though they were abit stiff.. if u seen dirty dancing havana nights ( as in the movie) u would noe what i mean.. THey were absolutely terrific.. for first timers, since they are not a couple and they spend like only 2 weeks? doing the whole thing.. 4 thumbs up man.. ( my hand and legs..) wonderful wonderful..
Fagan, Kai, Tasha, Shu Yi and Marc jammed, they are good... I even saw clarence, i dunno y but yea.. he was there.. Oh did i tell u guys.. he looks alot like Austin.. as in like my secondary schoolmate from Temasek Secondary. Really like alot..
Speaking of temasek sec, i saw a couple of temasekians.. (temasek sec people) from N(t).. They should be starting ITE soon.. I swear its them.. from 4/9.. don noe their names though.. and dunno how they manage to get tixs into the dnd.. anyway, their group was so wreaking the atmosphere since both tables were quite close to ours.. We happen to just pardon them coz we have class and they don.. (-.^) :X opps.. sorry.. but really they were making a din and totally not showing respect to the organisers and other people who were there.. Oh well, live and let live..
As i speak, sue and company should be somewhere, clubbing, y din i go?

2. Actually i can really beg.. But i dunno y.. i just din feel like.. din feel like going at all.. Not interested i guess..
So yep, btw, wanna say this.. GREAT JOB Hospi Interest Grp.. This is a great event!! Greatest one since i joined up hospi..
U did great karin.. it wouldnt have been successful without u..
U all did great!! So proud of u guys..
